The Focus of our Efforts

Making a Difference

Here at Canton Calvary Mission, we understand the importance of fighting hunger in low-income communities. We also understand, in this day in time, it’s the people that you least expect are the ones who also assistance. With those thoughts in mind, our Food Pantry is here to serve everyone who comes to our door during our regular pantry day hours which are Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, or our 3rd Thursday pantry hours from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. We are also here for emergency food assistance in the case you are unable to make it to our regular pantry days. So, feel free to come on down and take advantage of this valuable resource. We look forward to serving you!

Investing in our Future

The schools that our children attend attempt to provide as much educational instruction as possible, unfortunately it’s not always enough. We understand that our children need as much educational support as they can get for them to be successful. We also understand the need for our children to be culturally enriched and have experiences outside of their normal routine. To assist in those goals, we offer the Ramp it Up program, which started in the Summer of 2021. This program provides that extra educational support our children need with the support of a staff that truly cares. As well as field trips to enriching destinations that some of our children may never experience.

A little help to get through the day

We understand that there may be multiple reasons why you may not have a lunch. Whether you were running late for work or an appointment and didn’t have enough time to pack one. Or unfortunately you didn’t have enough food at home to pack a lunch, nor any extra money to purchase one. Whatever the case may be, you can stop by the mission on Wednesdays from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and grab a lunch to help you get through your day.
